AI commercial production

We produce commercials, spots and advertising films with generative AI, without a shoot day, a crew or a location. You get a finished spot in every format your channels need, with the delivery date fixed in the offer. A conventionally shot spot usually takes 4 to 10 weeks.

What an AI commercial is

An AI commercial is not made in front of a camera but out of concept, image generation and finishing. Every shot is developed, checked and corrected individually until light, movement and product detail are right. Tools such as Seedance, Veo, Kling or Google Flow are instruments. What decides the result is direction, selection and the edit.

Commercial, spot, advert or ad video?

In everyday use all four mean the same thing: a short film meant to sell something. The difference sits in where the words come from. Commercial comes from American television and today covers the narrative form as well. Advert and advertisement are the British terms for the same thing. Spot comes from broadcast and means the booked version with a fixed length, so 15, 20 or 30 seconds. Ad video and ad clip are the younger online terms and usually mean moving image for social media, a website or a shop.

For the production it makes no difference. Whether you have an ad video made or a broadcast spot, the route is the same: concept, styleframes, motion tests, production, edit. What changes is length and format, and we fix both in the offer beforehand. If you need several short versions for paid channels, the formats are under social ads.

Three formats that come out of it

A commercial is the base form. From it we cut three formats, each built for one particular place. Every one has its own page with lengths, costs and limits.

Formats and lengths for an AI spot

A spot rarely runs on one channel only. That is why we plan formats and cut lengths from the start instead of cropping a 16:9 frame at the end. Every shot is generated so that product and message stay in frame in vertical too.

Where it runsFormatUsual length
Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts9:166 to 30 seconds
Feed ads on Instagram and Facebook1:1 or 4:56 to 15 seconds
YouTube, website, presentation16:915 to 60 seconds
TV, cinema, digital out of home16:920 to 30 seconds

Which variants are included in the price is on pricing. More on short vertical spots under AI social ads, on advertising in the style of real user clips under UGC video.

What AI commercials suit

Commercial or brand film?

A commercial sells a product or an offer, a brand film introduces the company. Spots are short, usually 6 to 30 seconds, and end with a clear call to action. A brand film usually runs 60 seconds to three minutes and builds trust. For the company itself, read on under brand film with AI.

How we check every shot

AI tools deliver raw material, not finished spots. Every shot goes through a check before it reaches the edit. We look at:

Whatever fails the check is generated again or corrected by hand. For one shot that makes the final film, at least five are discarded. You see the result at four points and approve: concept, styleframes, motion tests and rough cut.

Where AI reaches its limits

We say openly in the first call when your project should be shot instead. That is the case when specific real people have to be seen, your team or your customers for example. Long dialogue with exact lip sync, and products whose labels must be readable in every single shot, also need heavy finishing or a hybrid approach. What that looks like is under hybrid video production.

Whether AI, a shoot or both fit is compared in detail in AI video or a traditional shoot.

How a project runs

  1. First call: 30 minutes, idea and feasibility.
  2. Concept and styleframes: you approve look and mood.
  3. Production: generation, finishing, colour.
  4. Rough cut: first version with music for approval.
  5. Delivery: every format, with a note on labelling.

That is the short version. All nine steps with the approval points are under how a project runs.

Work

Our spots so far are spec work, made without a client brief: partly for invented brands, partly as a free interpretation of known brands, to show what is possible.

Frequently asked questions

How realistic do AI commercials look?

For products, environments and moods the difference to filmed material is often no longer visible. For people in close-up and for exact product detail there is more finishing involved. We show you styleframes beforehand so you can judge the result before anything is produced.

What does an AI commercial cost?

From 3,500 € net for the base film, meaning the finished spot for your website and YouTube. A short social spot of 6 to 15 seconds starts at 1,000 € net. What a broadcast-ready TV spot costs depends on usage rights and we cover it in the first call. Shot conventionally, a 30 second spot for online channels usually costs 4,000 to 15,000 € net. Details on pricing and what a commercial costs.

What is the difference between a commercial and a brand film?

A commercial advertises a product or an offer and usually runs 6 to 30 seconds. A brand film introduces the company, usually runs 60 seconds to three minutes and is there to build trust. Both can be produced with AI.

How does an AI commercial agency differ from a classic production company?

A classic production company plans shoot day, crew, location and cast. With AI production that part falls away: we build the images instead of recording them. Concept, direction, edit, colour and sound stay the same. So what differs is cost and speed, not the craft steps.

Can AI show our real product with its logo?

Yes, with finishing. We work from photographs or 3D data of your product and correct logo and label in every shot where they are visible. The more text there is on the packaging, the more work that is.

Does an AI commercial have to be labelled?

Not every AI video has to be labelled. Since 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires disclosure for deepfakes, meaning convincing content showing real or plausibly real people, places or events. YouTube, Meta and TikTok have their own rules on top. Details in the guide on AI labelling in advertising.

May I run the spot on television?

Technically yes: on request we deliver at 25 frames per second, in the required aspect ratio and as a master file at production resolution. Legally it needs its own agreement, because the standard licence covers your own digital channels while television, cinema and out of home are paid for separately. Say so in the first call and it goes into the offer. See terms, clause 5.
